In an effort to get Mr. Gooch and I organized and make life easier at dinner time since he just started a new work schedule, we are planning our dinner menus at the beginning of the week. This is also helping us to use what is in the pantry, the fridge and freezer and make shopping the sales easier to cut our food costs. We have even started posting the meals on the fridge so that the one home the first can get things started.
This week's menu is
Sunday: Taco Bake
Monday: BBQ Chicken Sandwich (in the crock pot), Salad, Spanish Rice
Tuesday: Marinated Flank Steak, Salad, Grilled Potatoes, Corn on the Cob
Wednesday: Pot Roast, Salad, Carrots, Roasted Potatoes
Thursday: Salmon with Puff Pastry and Pesto, Salad, Rice
Friday: Apple-bacon crusted Tilapia with Sage, Mushrooms, Shallots, Salad, Herbed Fingerling Potatoes, Corn on the Cob
Saturday: Greek chicken stuffed with smoked Gouda, Salad, Roasted potatoes, Carrots
Lunches are usually leftovers and breakfasts are yogurt, muffin/toast with jam from the Farmers Market or cereal.

Great menu, especially the Salmon - looks mighty tasty! Welcome to MPM, it's so fun and it really does help not waste food. It has really helped our food budget (and we eat pretty well). Plus new recipes and new friends, MPM rocks!
Have fun, and have a very wonderful week, Kiy
